Living in Delray Beach, Florida
Delray Beach is a coastal city in southern Palm Beach County, between Boca Raton to the south and Boynton Beach to the north.

About Delray Beach
The lay of the land
Its downtown runs along Atlantic Avenue from I-95 east to the ocean, with restaurants, shops and galleries, plus the Old School Square arts and events campus. The public beach sits where Atlantic Avenue meets the ocean.
Farther west, the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens has gardens, walking paths and exhibits, and the area has wetland parks with boardwalk trails.
Homes include historic cottages and newer builds near downtown, condos and townhomes, and planned single-family communities west of I-95. I-95 and Florida's Turnpike pass through the area, and Tri-Rail stops in Delray Beach.
